The British Geological Survey
Canatxx have implied by implication that the British Geological Survey (BGS) says that the Preesall salt is suitable safe for gas storage.
The actual statement is “Quite simply, the science proves Preesall salt is perfectly suitable for the storage of gas”
BGS issued a statement on their role in this matter and they are NOT prepared to say that the Preesall salt is suitable for gas storage.
It is true that BGS have been retained by Canatxx to produce reports for them on salt samples so the question has to be asked that IF the Preesall salt is so good, then why won't BGS say so?
